Breakout stocks | Australia - ASX

This page scans for ASX stocks breaking out today. Breakout stocks are defined as those having moved beyond resistance levels. Breakout stocks often exhibit sharp and sudden upward moves.

At Stockbeep we use the 5-day range to indicate current resistance and support levels.  We track stocks that have broken above their 5-day range by at least one standard deviation (SD). A standard deviation is a measure of how much the stock usually moves.

The default ranking is by the number of standard deviations (SD). This value measures the magnitude of the breakout.

To look for breakouts accompanied by a volume surge, use the Relative Volume (RVol) column.
